Loading... Please wait...We know retail and marketing from operating retail stores in the MidWest for other owners for eleven years, then our own successful small business for another fifteen years. Understanding what customers want and how to consistently provide quality products and service is engrained into us, just as is a hard work ethic.

This year we had time to only make ONE version!

One of several renditions of Christmas Cards we sent with orders 2011 season.
We chose to come to the Big Island because of the diverse beauty, the more relaxed lifestyle, and the easier more natural way of life. We can live in open windowed airy homes (rather than need to be in either air conditioning or heated environments 49 out of 52 weeks in a year!) There are definitely other advantages like less politics and crime -- not to mention we are just 15 minutes to wonderful beaches and a picnic!

Mike at our local beach (we did a mini picnic) that is 15 minutes from our farm!
Our specific location was chosen only after many years flying back and forth and lots of time exploring and researching the many areas that were possible to settle at. The South Kona area is much more unspoiled and undeveloped, and our spot way up two miles from the regular roadway suites us very well. Pristine, quiet, lush, private. We had always been drawn to this area, it seemed synchronistic when we found the farm for sale!
We don't want to be a big conglomeration,
And these types of natural products
Suffer when there is an attempt
To mass produce and market them.
We choose to "Keep it Simple and Small",
And By Doing So Provide the Quality of Products
The Larger Operations "Only Wish They Could!"

Patti is my favorite of all the dogs and animals we have up here!

Ric is all around the coffee farm but this time we catch him between some of our oranges which we also grow up here on the farm!
Our Hawaiian Organic Kona Coffee Estate Farm itself is just small enough we can operate it hands on, yet it's large enough we can supply the quantities our customers demand.
As they say in the "Three Little Bears", "...and It Was Just Right!"...
Our coffee beans all come from this land, it is all unmixed with crops from other farms, and it is all processed here with our own facilities and under our direct control.
By operating the Kona Comfort Farm Estate ourselves, we can ensure that only choice ripe beans are gently picked; we use the best suited South American pulping equipment that does not damage the coffee beans to process (called pulping) each harvest. Then we follow traditional fermentation (with no chlorine) followed by natural sun deck drying.
This dried product (called parchment) is put into our own monitored climate controlled room to cure.
When you order we hull with a quality machine from India designed for coffee, then your order is freshly roasted to your taste with a commercial roaster designed by a Kona Coffee farmer.
We bag and ship it right out to you.
It's the best and freshest possible unless you decide to roast it yourself, and as a matter of fact we have a growing following that orders our Organic Green Kona Beans and do exactly that!
Our pride and the quality of care shows in the taste of each cup of gourmet coffee from every bag you open that we make!
Please Enjoy!
