Does my filter make any real difference?

If you are using a drip type of coffee maker we recommend that you use one that has a permanent filter -- the better ones are metal cone shaped. Paper filters often will pass some of the paper taste on into the cup -- not a good idea!

Permanent filters also create a "richer" taste experience while needing you to use less ground coffee -- they are actually not only better for your taste buds but also are better for their efficiency and will save you money in the long run!.
